A lovely over view of a brilliant artist; an artist resistant to easy summary, but very well represented here in images and interview. I've yet to make it through all the essays but I'm fairly sure that they are suitably elucidating. On the whole... I bought it for the images.

Format: Hardcover
Well presented book with authoritative writing, showing the range of Anselm Kiefer's recent work.
The illustrations are good, covering a sequence of hanging works on lead in some detail.

Bought this as a gift for my partner (I hadn't even heard of the guy!). He was very pleased with the book - and I was even more pleased with the price which was great deal less than anywhere else I had seen it.
