With a completely new interface, powerful new database management tools, enhanced GPS capability and compatibility with any Microsoft enabled Smartphone, Anquet Version 06 opens an exciting new era in the world of digital mapping and route planning. Anquet Version 06 OS Explorer series on CD ROM provide the perfect solution for planning walks or cycle routes for day trips or longer itineraries. Each CD ROM is packed with Ordnance Survey or Harvey mapping, used in paper format by millions of walkers and cyclists. Anquet users can plan routes, plot them on the maps and instantly calculate distance travelled, height gained and walking time. Route descriptions and profiles can also be created. Users can print maps, profiles and route descriptions to use en route and can download routes to their Garmin or Magellan GPS. Maps can be viewed in 3D, with the user able to fly over the landscape at any height and in any direction. Each National Park CD ROM includes mapping at 1:25,000 and 1:50,000 scales as well as aerial photography on one CD ROM. Each CD ROM includes software for your PC to plan routes, print maps and see 3D landscapes. Anquet Version 06 supports a wide range of standard GPS and PocketPCs with in-built GPS capability. Anquet has also developed a unique set of software tools which are set to revolutionise the way GPS is used.
