5.0 out of 5 stars Amber Digby---Another Way to Live 1 Jun 2010
By John R. Gilkey - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
How refreshing to hear real traditional country music. No screaming rock guitars and too loud drums here. I love every song on this album. The singing is fine and the work by the musicians is great. Amber has a wonderful voice and she knows how to use it. She really shines with I'm Not Your Kind of Girl. Thanks to Sirius-XM Radio for introducing Amber's music to me and to Amazon for making it available.

5.0 out of 5 stars Real Country Music is alive and well 13 Mar 2011
By Elwood F. Snyder - Published on Amazon.com

This is one of the very best CD's I have heard in a very long time. It sounds like it could have been recorded 50-60 years ago. If you like the good old stuff like Patsy,Lefty and Ray Price then you will love this artist and her music. Like others, I first heard her on Willie's Place on Sirius radio. Just had to buy this CD based on the radio cuts. WOW!

4.0 out of 5 stars Another Way To Live Amber Digby 29 Mar 2010
By Harold Dean - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
Have all of her albums available. Wonderful return to classic country music that I so enjoy. Shame with such a fine voice that the mixing artist was so obsessed with the sound of the band that her voice was overpowered too many times. Should have cut two albums, one for the band and one featuring her fine vocals with a more subdued accompaniment. Harold Dean

5.0 out of 5 stars Real Country!!! 2 Mar 2011
By Drummerboy - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
Amber Digby is by far one of the best "New" artist with a traditional style. Having stated new, I should let everyone know she has been down in Texas playing music for awhile. She has also been around "Real" country music her whole life. Her dad played in Loretta Lynn's band, and her mom sang in Connie Smith's band. You can certainly tell by her strong, beautiful voice that she is carrying on the tradition of country music with fiddle & steel guitars.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bring the Sawdust or Cornmeal it's Honkytonk on an oak floor 28 April 2010
By David R. Summers - Published on Amazon.com
This last set of tracks is just another step forward on a Dance Hall Floor & the career of a star in the making.
Amber is a "purest", with a set of 'pipes" & a back up band that keeps cranking out a
fresh, real sound that stays on the cutting edge of true Honk Tonk. The lady walks her talk.
And once again delivers a real country sound for usin'....be it a dance pardner
or a cold brown bottle. The best part of "ANOTHER WAY TO LIVE" is that this lady is on a roll & true Country Honky Tonk has a fresh future in the making.
