This is the first book by Catherine McPhail that I've read, and its definitely left me wanting more! Though short, this book is full of tension - and leaves you lookng over your shoulder for another you. When people start seeing Fay, when she knows she wasn't there, she at first thinks that maybe someone is playing a trick on her. Or maybe she has a twin that her parents havn't told her about. Or maybe it's something more sinister.............................

This is by far her best book in my opinion. Absolute classic. Loved it. The only problem for me would be the ending was kind of weird, confrontation between Fay and the "other" Fay. That didn't really make sense to me...oh well, I was never a bright lad anyway. Excellent book apart from the weird ending.

Cathy MacPhail really knows how to write a tense thriller. The story is about a girl at high school who loves Drama. She has been picked for a production of a Shakespeare play at school, when she suddenly begins to think she is being followed. People around her tell her she has been places she hasn't, and soon she starts to suspect there is "another me" - a doppelganger - following her around. It's a brilliantly written short novel that would appeal to reluctant or able readers.
