Another Fashion Book collects approximately 156 images previously published in the quarterly periodical, Another Magazine. The images, which have been stripped of their original context and editorial copy, have been gorgeously reproduced and, in many cases, blown-up in size (not a single image occupies less than an entire page). Contributors include Mario Sorrenti, Nick Knight, Horst Diekgerdes, Sandra Freij, Craig McDean, Will McBride, Yelena Yemchuk, Mark Segal, Willy Vanderperre, Terry Richardson, Martina Hoogland, Serge Leblon, David Sims, Cedric Buchet, Sam Taylor-Wood, Alisdair Mclellan, Venetia Scott, Glen Luchford, and Richard Burbridge.
As far as fashion anthologies go, this is one of the best I've seen with a wide variety of styles and interestingly composed photographs. The textured cloth cover also gives the book itself a classic, mid-century modern feel. Unfortunately, the book suffers a tight binding, which prevents many of the photographs that occupy two-pages from being adequately seen.
If you're looking for an attractive coffee-table book on fashion, you'd be hard pressed to find a better purchase--despite the problem with this book's spine. For those of you looking for some editorial content to go with your pictures, however, you're best off looking elsewhere; other than a ten-page foreword (printed in very large font), this book contains no text whatsoever.
