I like the Horrible Histories series and bought this for my son. It is educational but in the usual entertaining way which makes it great for encouraging kids to read. I recommend this along with the books and DVDs.

It's horrible and the 8 year old grand children absolutely loved it. The blood, guts, stinks, warts and all are just the thing for then to entertain their friends.
