Biography

Annie Lennox is a British musician and recording artist, she was born on 25th December 1954 in Aberdeen, Scotland. Annie Lennox studied classical music at the Royal Academy of Music in London and began her recording career as a member of the British pop band The Tourists. Annie subsequently formed the synth-pop duo Eurythmics with former band mate David Stewart and went on to achieve international success over the course of the 1980s with singles such as "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" and "Here Comes the Rain Again".
