Myrrhe Ardente by design house Annick Goutal was launched in 2007; the noses behind this fragrance are perfumers Camille Goutal and Isabelle Doyen. Camille Goutal and Isabelle Doyen wanted to pay homage to myrrh and its sacred rituals dating back to ancient times. They were also inspired by the canvasses of 19th century orientalist paintings depicting scenes of lascivious women beside baths. Myrrhe Ardente is classified as an Oriental fragrance for women. Myrrhe Ardente notes consist of top notes of Myrrh essence, tonka bean and benzoin. Heart notes of Guaiac wood, Myrrh and Vetiver. Base notes of beeswax.
