5.0 out of 5 stars A Well Executed Fashion Tome 13 Dec 2010
By ufobooks - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
This is a really nice fashion forward book about Anna Sui, the book takes no time getting into the shows and designs. The embossed/foiled cover design show the quality control that went into the book's design. Sometimes with other fashion books they use a lot of fluff to fill a book. Not the case with this book, beautiful pictures of various runway outfits and themes for each show (inspiration is noted as well). The pictures are exceptional, several 2 page promotional ads and inspiration boards are shown for a few pages. Anna Sui is a vivid and imaginative designer, anyone who likes color, detail, and unique design will love this entertaining and well thought out book.

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE!!!!! 26 Oct 2011
By RogerPadilha - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover|Amazon Verified Purchase
This is a must have for any fashion collector, fan of Ms. Sui's work, and students! The introduction by Meisel is amazing (and rare as he rarely does any interviews), the photography is inspiring, and the runway photos have been carefully edited so that you really get a great sense of what each collection was about. A genius book on a genius subject.

5.0 out of 5 stars A 'must' for any serious fashion history library 14 Feb 2011
By Midwest Book Review - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
Anna Sui's rock and roll looks fostered a new era in fashion and her shows created a new kind of styling and beauty. Any who follow fashion trends are likely to know her name - and ANNA SUI here packs in over 400 color images shot by photographers to accompany a season-by-season analysis of her fashion designs. The result is a lovely chronological collection of her seasonal contributions - and a 'must' for any serious fashion history library.
