Ann Treneman is an author who, for her day job, is the chief theatre critic and former parliamentary sketchwriter for The Times newspaper. She has been a journalist for 30 years, has won awards for her sketches and her feature writing. She is also a grave enthusiast, as in graveyards. Born and brought up in America, she has lived in Britain for decades although her accent remains stubbornly USA. She lives in London and Derbyshire.
