Ann has been working in further and adult education since 1983 and is currently teaching part time at Bishop Burton College in East Yorkshire. She holds QTLS status, has a Masters degree in Educational Management, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education and a Degree in Education.
She taught the first group of students in England taking the Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector Award (PTLLS) in December 2006, the first to be accredited on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF). The first successful learner in England was from this group.
Ann has been awarded a City & Guilds Medal of Excellence for teaching. She is a Fellow of the Institute for Learning with QTLS status and holds a Licentiate with City & Guilds.
She delivers various events in the UK and abroad.
