Seems like this replacement adapter is working better than the original dell component. The laptop (Vostro 1510) accepted this one as an original while it actually rejected the one supplied by Dell. Anyway, it's working and it's cheap, what more can you ask for.

The adapter does not charge the computer as quickly as my previous adapter. I got a message from Dell when I rebooted that I was using a non-standard adapter and that it would take longer to recharge (which it does). It was cheap and I guess I shouldn't be surprised, I just wish I had known at the time of purchase. I would have paid more to get a standard adapter. I often charge my phone and other devices off the laptop and I can't with this adapter. It will charge one at a time, but not multiples. I plugged in two devices on my USB ports and only one of them charged overnight - the other was still dead.
Not right for Vostro 2510

The good: Shipped quickly, good packaging, nice, lightweight cord which would be good for toting around.
The bad: While this is probably a great adapter for some computers, it is not the right adapter for Vostro 2510 (despite the product description given). This is a 65W AC adapter. When it's plugged into a Vostro 2510, an error message comes up warning that a 90W adapter or greater is needed. If you leave this 65W adapter plugged in, the computer runs v-e-r-y, v-e-r-y s-l-o-w. And, the the adapter is not strong enough to charge the battery--after 24 hours of charging, the battery was charged only 1% more than when the adapter was first plugged in. So, the cord pretty worthless for me.
Update: The seller, Laptopmate, did contact me directly to apologize for the misinformation in the product description and to offer to send the correct adapter. It is nice to shop with a vendor who cares about customer service. Kudos are due in that regard. I ordered a 90W adapter and it works great.
