I'm an 'old skool' manual typewriter typist, so I like a good rake on the keyboards I use - and the action on this keyboard is excellent for touch typing.

Comments made by others regarding lack of caps lock (etc) lights - I've been using some software to provide indication in the windows toolbars, so that isn't a problem for me.

One slight niggle is the size of the mouse - I would really appreciate manufacturers putting the actual mouse size in witht he rest of the dimensions. This is the third WKM I've ended up buying (one from Gigabyte - excellent keyboard action, mouse was tiny, meaning I ended up 'clawing' my hand in order to get it to fit - second from Logitech, with an even smaller mouse for some reason.)

The Anker mouse is one of the better ones I've found for size - and with the additional 2 buttons now programmed for Cut & Paste respectively, it makes for a very productive product (you need to download the software from their website, but that seems to be standard these days) - however, another half inch to an inch (about 1.5 to 2.5cm) extension on the back/tail end would have made it a perfect fit, bringing it more into the base of my palm, as well as keeping my wrist more elevated.

That aside (and I'm also getting used to the new design) the mouse is very comfortable, fits into the palm, and the extra two buttons are not intrusive when it comes to general "mousing around" use - clicks are firm but very responsive, scroll wheel likewise (ie, no flyaway scrolling), Also the general surface feel of the mouse is good - not too rough so as to prevent easly finger movement, but not too smooth that you feel conscious of finger slip.

All in all, and given the massive price drop from Amazon, this is a perfect replacement for my old TESCO Technika 'cheap&cheerful' that lasted me over 6 years & 4 novels (plus a lot more freelance work as well.)

This combo comes with a full size wireless keyboard and a wireless precision mouse. Both the keyboard and the mouse have all the options that I need. Here are my thoughts on both.

Wireless Keyboard

The wireless keyboard runs on a single AAA battery and the battery doesn’t need to be changed often. The keyboard is full size and the keys are super quiet which I really like so you don’t have to hear the constant clicking noise. All of the keys are really smooth which I also like. The gaps between the keys are tight which is supposed to make it more resistant to spills. I have been using this keyboard at work and I drink coffee all day so that is a nice option. The keyboard that I replaced had coffee spilled on it months ago and some of the keys have stuck ever since that happened. The same could happen to this keyboard but the flat keys and tight spacing would reduce the amount of liquid that would go down into the keyboard. It has an angled palm rest that feels natural as your hands lay there. The function buttons are all together instead of being spaced apart like a lot of keyboards. I don’t mind them all being together but it took me a little getting used to it because I use the function buttons a lot at work with the system that we use. It has a power save option that turns it off after 15 minutes to save battery life. It’s nice that you don’t have to turn it off manually. It also has a lot of quick access keys for volume adjustment, mute, forward, reverse, play, pause, email, sleep, home and calculator. All of the buttons work as they should without any special setup needed. There is also an indicator light on the top of the keyboard that will illuminate when the battery needs to be replaced.

Needed a new wireless keyboard combo, my last died a watery death. Had a look around and came across this for the very reasonable price of £25.99 free P&P. You get a very good keyboard which feels really smooth, has good features and is quiet. The keyboard came with the correct uk layout.
The mouse is extreamly responsive and will run on most surfaces. The adjustable DPI is a nice feature and the led indicator to show your selection is handy. The tiny usb receiver fits into the base of the mouse and automatically installs in seconds.
All in all VERY good value for money;)

Keyboard seems nice to type on. Mouse feels a bit small. Biggest flaw.... It requires two batteries of different sizes making it loads more expensive. Why couldn't they have just used an AA battery in the keyboard as well?

I like the style of the mouse and keyboard. The mouse works fine, however, I cant really use the keyboard, It drove me mad trying to type on it. It is not very responsive and very slow. I have put the Bluetooth dongle in different usb ports, had it on an extension usb, so the keyboard is in the line of sight, it just doesn't work very well :( The mouse responds really well, so not sure if I have a duff keyboard!

Didn't work correctly from day 1!
The mouse seems to be fine most of the time but will randomly jump to a seemingly random part of the screen on occasion.
The keyboard likes to stop working every so often but only for a second, so by the time you notice you've missed a word or two from your sentence.
Don't even think of trying to play any kinda game with these!
Tried on several PC's with the correct drivers and even with the CB410 software but all had the same issues.
