I wasn't going to review the Debut version of this program because I had moved on to the Pro version and I am going to review that. I'm writing this because I felt that I had to redress the balance because of one 1 star review in particular. This review stated that "The product comes with minimal documetation and instead refers you to online YouTube videos....". The program actually has a 340-page manual built-in, with illustrations and tutorials which you can open and work with. My own experience was that after some initial bewilderment, probably because I am past my best in years, the software was very flexible and full-featured considering it is inexpensive. Very few features were left out and there is plenty to get you started. A little time needs to be taken to find the tools and controls. A review such as the one I mentioned, which is such obvious nonsense, deserves no attention.

I brought the product to add basic motion to characters. It did this just! (Many hours wasted)
I then upgraded to a mac and installed it to find it wouldn't work, it would load but wouldn't allow me to create a new document.
Don't cheap out just buy ToonBoom!

I bought this in the hope of creating some simple animations, but have found that the interface is clunky and hard to follow. The product comes with minimal documetation and instead refers you to online YouTube videos whic are badly titled and don't give much detail.
FOr such a "leading edge" product, I would have expected an intuitive interface, where the in-application help fields were big enough to read the text, rather than having to try and scroll them whilst trying to edit.
Best place for this application is in the bin, in my humble opinion.
Never again.

Received 2 disks in sealed packaged. One was blank and had serial number on its envelope, the other I tried to install had no info on its envelope. Read more
