This is a brilliant movie, spanning over a year on the life of animals in Namibia, then South-West Africa. It has a continuous music background with a narrator making the animals seem more human. It has brilliant nature scenes also on the change of seasons.
You get to see an elephant, baboon, giraffe and warthog get drunk on fruit. Watch out for the choosy warthog bride and how to get a baboon to show you where to find water in the desert. The good thing is doesn't feel like a documentary, except for the part on the pelican babies (keep the tissues close). If you want to watch a feel good movie for the whole family or just for you alone then this is the movie for you.
Some background on the person who filmed this, there is a rumor in South Africa that the camera man stayed in the wild with several cameras strategically placed and continuously filming for 3 years, before getting back to the studios putting it all together.
This is a must see for any nature lover or just someone who wants look in the mirror and see what they look like to other people when they've got a hangover.
