This is a story of a feral cat that with encouragement and perseverence from compassionate people like Mandy and James is able to return to a settled, happy life. A double reward for Mandy and James as Blossom, the little cat produces three beautiful kittens. At the same point, Delilah, the cat belonging to Mr and Mrs Ward also produces kittens of her own: four lovely Persians. Following an accident with a car, Delilah is submitted to Animal Ark surgery. During this period, Blossom becomes foster mother to her kittens as she is resident in the Wards' garden shed. The story develops with the unravelling of the little kittens characters and we see Mandy and James' delight as the kittens start to grow up. The story becomes intense at this point as Mandy and James come to terms with the fact that the kittens will soon have to be rehomed and knowing where to home them. With this is the additional worry of Delilah at Animal Ark. The story concludes in agripping way as the owner of Blossom, Janice Stanley turns up and their is concern as to whether or not she will allow the kittens to go to the homes that Mandy and James have kindly found for them. An excellent and very relieving finish for us all! Number 42 was well worth the wait!

I'm glad 'Honey-mum' adopted 'Sprite', it also looked as if 'Sprite' had a good time with 'Houdini' and 'Monty', up at 'Highcross farm'. It's good Sammy got better and I'm glad Mandy found 'Rosie'.
