Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

Peanut just loves being stroked, hugged and fed. The more you play with him the more playful he'll become. Feed him his bone to hear him chomp and bark, then rub his back to see him wag his tail. To make him really happy stroke his head and he will raise his ear and tilt his head to look up at you. 4 x C batteries included. Colours and styles may vary. For ages 3 years and over.

I bought this toy for my daughter and it has proved a real hit! The price was good and she loves it - it is well made and very good for her age (she is 7).

I bought this puppy for my daughter for Christmas, although she hasn't seen it yet I think it is sooo cute. The only thing I can comment about is that it is hard I would have loved it if it was softer and made less noise. However, I am sure my daughter is going to enjoy playing with her new puppy.

Bought my 7 yr old this doggy for xmas and she loves it! Would recommend that you put fresh batteries in it before play as can sound a bit mechanical, but overall a lovely cuddly companion! Good for the money

An ideal pet for those children who can't experience the real thing. The box was rapidly turned into a basket for peanuts, and nanny was charged with knitting a blanket to keep "her" warm. A little larger than expected, but nonetheless can still be tucked under the arm for carrying around!

My 5 yr old daughter received this for Christmas and while she likes it, due to it being slightly bigger and heavier than other similiar toys it tends to sit on the end of her bed rather than get actively played with. The sound, when Peanut is active, can sound quite mechanical. I think that in retrospect, I would have chosen to buy a smaller animal from this range rather than a dog as I think it would have been played with more easily and therefore more frequently.

If your child really loves dogs and is determined to have a dog then consider this product, otherwise, I would look into alternative species....

My 9 year old daughter insisted she wanted this for Christmas and I relented. I wish I'd tried to convince her more not to bother with it. As with all toys like this it looks cute, sounds like it will be good fun but when it arrives the reality is really quite different. Its movements are noisy and its range of interactions are limited. My 9 year old daughter played with it for about ten minutes after we unboxed it Christmas morning and hasn't even looked at it since. Her 5 year old sister is just as unimpressed with it and it looks destined to gather dust on the shelf. My recommendation to other parents - don't do it. Spend you're money on something the kids might actually use.
