Take a walk on the wild side with `Angry Animals`! Dare you discover:-

Who made false teeth for an elephant?
Where you can find dragons with bad teeth?
Which scientist ate a poisonous snake for dinner?

If you think you can stomach the `sick' side of Science, then read on as we go on the hunt for the cruellest creature of them all. Get to grips with gruesome grizzly bears, wolf down some facts about ..er...wolves and snap up some savage shark stories.

With fantastic fact files, quirky quizzes and crazy cartoons, `Angry Animals' is a book to sink your teeth into!

127 pages, written in a variety of fonts in the usual Nick Arnold entertaining style.
Black and white illustrations/cartoons throughout, as well as `Bet you never knew' fact-boxes, e.g.:-

`Polar bears prowl the streets of Churchill in Canada. Believe it or not, a polar bear once even walked into a local club. The manager told the blundering bear it wasn't a member, so it walked out again.
At Hallowe'en local children aren't allowed to dress as ghosts because they might be mistaken for polar bears and shot with a knock-out dart.'

Science has never been so horrible!

Very good! 11 Jun 2007

My 11 year old says:
In my opinion, the best part of this book was that Terry Deary made the book into a sort of competition between animals. Which animal kills the most people and other fellow animals? This book contains facts and true stories about crocodiles, snakes, elephants, sharks, lions, etc. etc. And who turns out to be the winner of Most Savage Animal? Read and find out.
