Following the release in the uk of AB i have been longing for more sigur-ros. Although this is just a movie soundtrack, it does have beautiful, mellow music. Most of the music is quite similar, mellow violin stuff, which after a few tracks gets dull, but this cd is worth buying purely for the haunting and powerful 'Bium Biu m bambalo' which is certainly my favourate SR track ever and also the most moving.

I bought this CD out of curosity. I love Sigur Ros and this caught my eye. Thought it might be something different to listen to.

I'm glad I bought it. This music is something of a mix of things. You can hear Sigur Ros's contribution in there, with hypnotic and quite haunting additions. But there is also elements that remind me of the soundtrack to certain films such as Pan's Laberinth and others.

It's an interesting, if strange, music collection. But it isn't a Sigur Ros album. If your after that, look elsewhere. But if your after something a bit different and quite unique in it's way then I'd give this a listen.

Never seen the movie, so I can't comment on how it works with film, but it is a wonderful piece of music altogether. Having brought together Sigur Ros, Hilmar Orn Hilmarsson has made it atmospherical himself to accompany the young dudes in the iced-glacial soundscapes!
But your ears remain warm...

The promise of more Sigur Ros to listen to (after enjoying Agaetis Byrjun so much) was enough to make me buy this album. However, despite an atmospheric introduction in typically icelandic wasteland style (the music is set to a film featuring a mentally ill man) the album soon becomes monotonous and repetative riddled with one minute 'filler' tracks. The entrance of Sigur Ros comes disappointingly late (the last two tracks out of seventeen) and whilst it was nice to hear some more of their stuff, these two tracks are not special enough to warrent the purchase of this album. Do not buy this album in search of surrogette Sigur Ros, buy it only if you went mad about the film.

When I first got this cd I was dissapointed but now I realise my mistake. I had taken sigur ros for granted. They are immense, from the start of this albm it is pure beaty. If you love them you'll love this. Take the timer to got to know it and by the time time yu get to track six you will be in your own world. There isn't the singing that is on the other cd's but this is pure sigur ros.
