cracking album 16 Nov 2008
Format:Audio CD
great album. too many people are unsure about this album due to the departure of scallions and the intro of a new singer. i find the end result to be awesome. loads of killer tracks such as wasted time, gone, leave the memories alone. judge the album as if it were a debut album and forget the comparisons with previous fuel albums. excellent addition for my collection.

Excellent 30 Nov 2007
By Jordan
Format:Audio CD
I have to disagree with the previous review, I think this is an excellent album. First single "Wasted Time" is, for me, Fuel's best song since "Hemorrhage", and there's plenty of potential for future chart hits in "Gone", "Angels Take A Soul" and "Leave The Memories Alone".

I'll agree, some of the hard-edged, raw qualities of Fuel's earliest work - the "Sunburn" era - have been abandoned in favour of a more polished sound, but I think that's a benefit, not a detriment. I'll admit, I love the likes of Alter Bridge, Shinedown, Default, and Daughtry, so to see Fuel borrow from their post-processing techniques is an auditory dream come true!

All in all, an excellent modern rock album - one of the best of 2007, in my very humble opinion.

You can tell a great artist when the albums try different things but still keep the band's overall style. This is a new age of Fuel. I personally don't know what people are talking about when they say they hate the new singer (Toryn Green), I think he does a great job and fits into Fuel very well. Its the usual Fuel hard rock/post grunge sound, with the catchy riffs and good lyrical material. I just find Fuel stand out from the crowd of bands in the same genre.
