Hello everybody,
Now then as some of you might know, I was made to go off round the country earlier on this year and do a show to loads of people. It wasn’t my idea, I was made to do it by that lot what pull all the strings. I went everywhere, up north, down south and I even had to go to Scotland, but you have to do these things you see. If I’d have had my way I wouldn’t have gone, I’d have stayed at home with my feet up watching Dragons Den with a box of Magnums, but it wasn’t my way..So in the end what happened was, I got to this one place in Digbeth, which is in Birmingham and they’ve got a load of video cameras there and they say right we’re gonna film this and I shrugged my shoulders and said OK. So they did and this is what you’ve got in your hands, the DVD of it, so have a look at it and see what you think.

Was really looking forward to this DVD but found it very disappointing. I'm sorry to say that I would not recommend it. The material was very poor and if it had been on TV, rather than a DVD I had paid full price for, I would have switched it off long before the end.

Hmmm, after becoming a big fan of Angelos on Shooting Stars I thought this would be worth watching. i couldn't have been more wrong. There are some funny elements, but they are few and far between.

I'm a big fan of Vic and Bob, and also of Angelos during his appearances on Shooting Stars and chat shows, etc.
But we had to put this off after 20 minutes. Part of the point of the show is that Angelos doesn't have an act, which could work but doesn't because it's badly done. The premise is anyway undermined by several 'punchline' style jokes - about the Taliban for example - which just aren't funny enough.
I've now watched it all the way through, and it doesn't get much better. I'd been dismissive of the smug negative review of the live show in the Guardian, but turns out they were bang on. Several reviewers here (Amazon) are saying 'if you like Angelos on Shooting Stars you'll love this'. Well, I'd suggest that the exact opposite is in fact the case.
Fingers crossed he improves and learns what to do with the Angelos character, because this doesn't work. And a lot of people will have had this for Christmas and will be very disappointed indeed - watch those 1-star reviews pile up.

Well if you like Angelos you will love this. Hes funny outgoing and very silly. Made us laugh very good dvd.

Rubbish
Being a fan of Angelos on Shooting Stars, this was utter tripe. Only watched it to get my monies worth, sold on ebay for a 6 quid loss. Avoid, about 2 decent jokes throughout.

very funny
The best live DVD I've seen. Most dvds like this involve the comedians just walking up and down looking a bit sweaty but this had so much more to it.

Shaky start but worth watching
We loved it. Wasn't sure at first but keep watching, it get's funnier. My sons loved it and so did we.
