Diana Cooper's book Angel Inspiration contains many astonishing stories of how someone was saved from certain death by their angel and many people today believe they have a guardian angel. The subtitle, "How to change your world with the angels", makes the point that this is intended to be a practical book. Cooper writes of calling on your guardian angel when you are ill, or upset, or depressed, or bereaved--or even if you have lost your keys! Throughout, she stresses the need to help and heal others--friends, enemies, strangers, even world leaders and whole countries--by asking the angels. If someone is being unfriendly to you, she says, ask your angel to speak to the other person's angel, because angels are never negative or antagonistic.
The second section of this very easy-to-read book describes different types of angels, and especially the archangels, including Michael, Gabriel, Raphael and others, and the areas in which they are reckoned to specialise: protection, harmony, healing, and so on. The third section contains meditations and exercises, both to communicate with angels and to develop your chakras.
The spiritual background to Cooper's teaching is a blend of New Age healing and modern Theosophy, with the ideas of karma, past and future lives, Ascended Masters, I AM affirmations, and invocation of the silver violet flame. This book has honestly changed my life!! After reading just the first page i already felt somthing in side me click and i realized that angels are looking after us.
I have dyslexia and find reading hard work but this book was easy to digest and understandable to every one. There are stories throughout the book from people who have experanced meetings and conversations with angels.
Its a fantastic way to start a relationship with your personal guardian angel. Diana explains the whole make up of angels, where they are from and what they do. Then the end of the book gives tutorials on how to get to know your angel better. There are meditations and 'service wroks' that help you get started.
I would recomend this book to any one, whether you're a newbie to angels or have been reading in to it for years. It's seperated into manageable chapters and i could hardly put it down once i opened it!

I couldn't say if there are angels or not around. But Diana Cooper makes you feel there are, and they are all around, and they are just waiting for you to ask them to do something for you and for the others... After reading this book, you just can't help asking an angel to help you to find the keys, or to help you to be on time to your appointment, or to go to comfort people... And it just works like magic!
You don't find too many stories about people telling their angelic miracles in this book (but there are some!). In the first half of the book, Diana Cooper explains what the angels can do for you and how to ask them for assistance in any task (little or big). She explains how to recognise an angelic presence, and how the angels heal, protect and help, everything very practic and friendly.
In the second half of the book, you find an explanation about the best known angels and archangels and the angelic hierarchy, with their own "specialities". Is little bit more intellectual, but still very clear and "reader friendly".
What I felt reading this book is that for Diana Cooper the angels are as real as the firefighters, for example: you don't see them everyday (generally), but if you need them, you don't waste time wondering if they are going to help you, if the fire is important enough, or if you are worthy: you just pick up the phone and ask for help, and they come and help you. The whole book have the same kind of approach: it will convince you that the angels are with you, their job is to help you, and the more they help you the more happy they are and the better is your life.
And it works so well (I don't ask myself if it works because the books hipnotise you, or because there are indeed angels!), you can't help but being amazed and getting used to call angels!

The popular author Diana Cooper has here provided a practical workbook for working with the angel archetypes. The text is interspersed wit exercises and lessons plus the experiences of various people with what they believed to be th intercession of angels. The first part deals with inter alia guardian angels, miracles, angelic assistance, and angels and children. Part Two discusses the hierarchy of higher powers, archangels and then specific beings such as Michael, Jophiel, Chamuel, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel and Zadkiel. Part Three consists of meditations and exercises, including the practice of invocation and a series of angel meditations for each of the 8 chakras (energy points) in the human body. The information here isn’t new, nor is it meant for the student of the esoteric arts. Rather, this is a workbook for ordinary people who wish to solve their problems and improve their lives. As such, it serves it purpose very well.
