Product Description

The perennial dilemma is played out in "Angel Falls": is true love the passionate soulmate who sets your world on fire, or the steady reliable man who supports you through thick and thin.

From the Back Cover

Mikaela Campbell lies in a coma after a freak riding accident. Although doctors have told her devoted husband not to expect a recovery, Liam hopes his love will accomplish what they cannot. Between caring for their two grieving children, Liam sits by Mikaela's bedside day after day, holding her hand, telling her the stories of their life together.

Then he discovers Mikaela's secret past: her first husband was world-famous movie star Julian True. And when Julian's name is the only one Mikaela will respond to, Liam must face the painful reality that Julian may be the only person who can bring Mikaela back to life. But at what cost? Does Liam love his wife enough to risk losing her to a man no woman can resist?

The decision he makes strikes deep at the heart of his family, transforming each of them. For when Mikaela finally wakes up, she is a different woman, changed in a way no-one could have foreseen.

I having just finished Angel Falls, which is full of all the trials, questions and love that any family experience. It is well written and full of life. Angel Falls, is the sort of book that you take with you on a long journey, (trains!) or one that you sit in front of the fire with. But where ever you are reading this book, Angel Falls will keep you entertained.

I am hoping to investigate the other books that Kristin Hannah has written.

Having read On Mystic Lake and really enjoyed it, thought I would explore Kristin Hannah's other work but was very dissappointed with this one. I found it sickly sentimental, the characters wooden and I really didn't care what happened in the end. What a contrast to Mystic Lake which I found magical and very touching, how can the same writer write this rubbish??
