Andrew Welch, 31, from England, is a creative journey-maker
Andy Cycled via Europe, Turkey, the Caucasus, Iran and Pakistan to India and Nepal over a 2 year period and biked across Mongolia (20,000km, 3 trips) blogging, photographing and filming. Andy returned to London with a lust for knowledge studying MA Design Critical Practice at Goldsmiths where he discovered the Situationists and took up a walking-lead photography practice. His company in Georgia, Georiders (georidersmtb.com), provides mountain bike tours, environmental advocacy and support for the local biking community.
Andy has written four books: Weave of the Ride, Between Worlds, The Open Wilderness Guiding Book and Prepare, Pack, Pedal: A Practical Guide to Bicycle Touring.
