Andy McKee is a writer, cook, gardener and Transition Town activist. He is passionate about growing food, and believes that everyone needs to become more interested in what they eat. He contributes to the web-based project, Farm In My Pocket, which aims to help people get started in homesteading.
Andy lives with his wife and family in rural Dorset where they are entirely self-sufficient in organic vegetables, using their polytunnel and a modest outdoor plot. He also collects and cooks food from the wild.
