Absolutely wonderful book reviewing history of Byzantium 21 July 2004
By Circe - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
Andros Odyssey is an extremly impressive book that charts the history of a family that is entrenched in the ideological war between the iconoclasts and the idol-bashing supporters.

The author's level of detail spotlights how truly important the Byzantine culture was in forming our modern civilization.

This work should be included in larger academic and public libraries.
