Illusion of Majesty is reasonable, not outstanding but woth watching if just for some of the comedy moments.
Twilight of the Idols is best for fans of the series, If you know who Admiral Constanza Stark is then this episode will mean a lot more than someone not into the series as much.
Day of Judgement Day of Wrath is fantastic! Rommie abandons the Aandromeda(?), The DSX class is back. There is great character story for Rommie and you see a human side to the Balance of Judgement from Season 1.
Shadows Cast by a Final Salute has everything a good episode has, this is andromeda at it's best. Tyr a great character is the star, the writing and storylines are intelligent, which is unusual compared with a lot of this season. The battle is great, the shock troops are decent and not just stupid "inferior Neitzcheans" and the ending is great, do not let anyone tell you how this ends!

I have to admit that i am obsessed with Andromeda, so i hate saying a bad word about it. But it's been slowly going down hill these past few years. Still watchable yes, but it's lost its charm. Anyway, this volume has a nice selection on it. It is really noticable how the writers have decided to try to get as many punchlines in as possible, and it kind of drags in places. But other than that this is a good collection. Best episode would probably be "The Dark Backward", a full on Trance/Time Travelling evil satan thingy episode. Buy it for your collection.

Season 3 Vol. 2 has some great bits, and some not so great! the final 3 episodes on the disk are just as fast-paced and exciting as Andromeda normally manages, but the other two - the first in particular leave a lot unexplored in favour of intricate political and emotional story-lines. That said, the extras are interesting, though sometimes a bit long-winded. All in all, a set to buy if you are really into Andromeda, but not a highlight of the season so far!

I enjoyed watching Andromeda Series 3.1 as i have not seen it, and i didn't see it when it was advertised on tv, i will be getting the rest of Series 3 to watch.

Manufacturing faults on set
Who knows how this set is? One DVD in the set doesnt work and I bought the set 3 times! (living abroad with hard ways of returning DVDs - not mental retard)
