I have a cheap Android 4.0_0210_v1.7 tablet (Zenithink ZT280 C91) which has problems with my old bluetooth dongle - a Trust v2.0 edr - I've had this for a couple of years working OK with my desktop pc (win7 pro) and my wifes old laptop (vista) and sons Dell (win7 home) using both cell phones and headsets, BUT when it's plugging into the Android tablet it appears to work (blue light on and in Settings shows paired devices, different icons and connected but other side gives 'Service not supported by this device' or on the pc's 'xxxx is not working' after a few second/minutes the tablet sometimes crashes. The tablet icon at the top defaults to 'Only visible to paired devices' and when 'clicked' shows ' Visible to all Bluetooth etc.....' and a running timer which counts down from 2 mins, this hast to be 'on' during any search from the other device. I have checked with a number of forums and this is a known 'problem' and is awaiting a bug fix. Hope this helps
Hi, I am new to the Android software, and was under the impression that most things worked straight away. I have not tried as yet, but I will shortly. Thanks again for your description of the bug and the fix which is hopefully on its way, it will help alot.
