Absolutly Brilliant! 23 Jan 2004
Format:VHS Tape
I love this video, because it combines some of the best musicals around! Sarah brightman enchants as Christine Daae in the music videos for Phantom of the opera, and All i ask of you! And Cliff Richard singing as Raoul is definatly amazing! But i have to say the star of it is Michael Crawford who of course was the origional phantom, sings Music of the night as only he can! Bringing me to tears every time! There are also a host of other well known performers such as Michael Ball who sings The First Man You Remember, and Jason Dovovan! Definatly one to watch!

Wonderful Music 1 Jan 2011
By HappyMe
Format:VHS Tape
This VHS tape of some of Andrew Lloyd Webber's best melodic arias from his various works has been a constant sentimental delight to me - until the tape snapped. Then I cast high and low to try and purchase a replacement which I eventually found on Amazon.com and an orignal copy was shipped from the U.K. to my home in Australia within days and at a very reasonable price and in brand new condition.

I am very pleased with all aspects of this transaction and would recommend both the supplier, the music itself and Amazon to any interested person.

A must see for Crawford fans! 6 July 1998

Michael Crawford, to many Phantom of the Opera fans, is THE Phantom. Those who have heard him on the original cast recording but were unable to see him perform the role live, can now have the next best thing. This video has scenes from the musical with Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman. If you're a Phantom fan, GET THIS! END

Finally Seeing Michael In Costume 5 Oct 1999

As a huge fan of "Phantom of the Opera" and especially Michael Crawford, I bought this video for his performance alone. What a singer; what an actor!! HE IS THE CONSUMATE PHANTOM! Only sorry that Steve Harley sang the title song, but it did give insight into the artistic genius that would prevail in the end. One thing that would have made this video better--"Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again" continued with the trio (Phantom, Christine and Raoul)at the cemetary. If ever a video is available of the stage version of Phantom, this consumer will be the first to order!!! Also,Michael Ball was great as usual in "Love Changes Everything".

Die-hard fans of Sarah brightman, and Micheal crawford 16 Sep 1999
By rachel@aol.com - Published on Amazon.com
This video I thought was very good. A tad bit corny in some places, and I have to agree andrew's place is in theatre, and not videos. But if you love Sarah Brightman, phantom of the opera, or micheal crawford. Then you need to get this video. There is only one music video with micheal in it, but it is a reinactment with sarah brightman of music of the night, and is very good. It adentical to what happens on stage in the play. Sarah brightman does six other videos, one which is phantom of the opera. The song is a different one than the one we have today, and micheal hadn't been hired yet. The song is a little more on the dark. obsessive side than the love song it was made into. Put if you love Phantom of the opera, and don't mind changes, than you need to get this video. the other videos with sarah brightman are beautiful, and it's fun seeing her younger.
