I bought this to supplement our main electric oven and also use in our scullery rather than main kitchen. Very handy and cooks uniformly. Variable temperature, grill/oven settings. Timer must be used, and times the cooking period - is not for delay-on. Cooks for up to 1 hour. Longer requires reset of timer.

I bought this oven to avoid having to use my full size fan oven when I'm only cooking small quantities. I chose this one as it had a fan so I thought it would cook faster and more evenly than a mini convection oven. It only has two heating elements on the top and the bottom so it basically grills your food from top and bottom at the same time. I found that food was burnt on the outside by the time it was cooked on the inside so I have resorted to putting tin foil on the grill rack and using it as a sheild between the top elements and the baking tray with rolled up tin foil on over the bottom elements and then placing another tray on top of this with the food on it. A bit of a palava but the only way I can 'bake' anything without cremating it!
I have found the thermostat to be wildly inaccurate i.e. 150 is nearer 180.
This oven is not a 'cool wall' either which you are warned about in the meagre instructions so gets very hot on the top and I suspect most of the power goes into heating the kitchen rather than the inside of the oven. The paint on the outside started to discolour almost immediately above the door where hot air was escaping which shows how poorly insulated the thing is.
Overall I am very disappointed with this oven. It's not an expensive item but nevertheless I am not convinced it's any cheaper to run than my normal oven and as I don't trust it to cook anything properly it is being used less and less.
It seemed like a good idea at the time but I suspect it has been a complete waste of money.

A little smaller than I expected. For roasting vegetables grilling toast etc it is great. Quick to heat up and the combined grill/bake function is fine. Tried a chicken though and ran into problems. The drip tray is way too shallow and when I started to roast the kitchen filled with smoke from the chicken fat. It will very useful as a back up though for those occasions where a lot of things need an oven.

Useful little cooker
