This gadget is now my favourite kitchen appliance. Easy to use, minced effortlessly, and making sausages was a piece of cake. Highly recommend!

I am in my sixties and have used many mincers over the years, both commercial and domestic.
I can honestly state that in all those years this little work horse is the best domestic
mincer I have ever had the pleasure of using. It works hard whilst producing brilliant
results.
If you need a hard working mincer, rather than a pretty looking kitchen ornament, then
this one really is a must have.

Bought this mincer off the back of the other reviews. I have started making homemade dog food & my old dog can't cope with some of the bones. This machine can chomp through a big tray of chicken wings in just a few minutes.
The medium grade mincer plate does the trick perfectly and I have started feeding my puppy with wings after putting them through the fine mincer plate.
Looking for sausage recipes now to make use of the sausage making utensils.
Yes, the machine is more noisy than I thought it would be but it has a very powerful motor so should really expect some noise.
Each time I use it I can't get over how it effortlessly goes through the wings.
One tip when cleaning, best to dismantle straight away and wash before meat dries on. We put it in the dishwasher a few hours before turning on & the bits of mince dried on & we had to soak everything.
Brilliant bit of kit and I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a mincer with a bit of wellie!

We (like many others) ordered this grinder as we have two cats that we feed on a raw diet. The machine copes with everything we throw into it (chicken chunks, rabbit, quail .. whatever, with bones .. all chopped into reasonable sized pieces) without missing a beat. We are so thrilled with it that we are looking for a sausage recipe to try it out for ourselves. We live in France and the locally available options were two to three times the price so, even allowing for delivery we are delighted with our Andrew James grinder.

We really don't understand why so many people are even mentioning the noise, what do you expect? It grinds meat, bones & gristle ... this cannot be done in 'whisper mode' no matter whose name is on the product!! It behaves like an old school grinder, munches what you put in and puts out a beautiful fine, smooth mix.

Overall, the grinder is a great piece of kit, it does what it says on the tin and we cannot wait to try it when making our own sausages, hhmmmm.

I read all the reviews before buying this product and compared it with other similar grinders/sausage makers.
Its a sturdy machine, easy to put together for whatever purpose and I made some superb sausages which was the main reason for buying it. The cutters are a bit fiddly to clean because they get meat tangled within the holes, but that's the same for all grinders and I found a small sharp paring knife held at an angle and scraped across the cutter worked the best before trying to wash it, though other users may have found a better way and make sure your washing up water is hot and soapy to remove grease/fat.
Many thanks to all those who took the time to submit a review as they were invaluable to me

I too was searching for a mincer/grinder so I could make my own dog food. I have an Andrew James hand mixer and was impressed by that so when I read the review by Jim Banner I felt sure this was the machine for me.

I was not wrong. It is BRILLIANT!!!!! So easy to use, well made and easy to clean. With a motor that powerful (compared to many others) its not surprising it makes a bit of noise. No worse than a mixer though.

If you want a mincer/grinder for making either your own mince or pet food get this one, you won't regret it.

This is a superb machine! Great price, delivered on the day expected & put into use the next day, it performed without let or hindrance.

What seemed to take ages with my old machine took 20 minutes with this one.

A really good buy - thank you!

I bought this after reading the positive reviews on here. Have now had it for about 2 weeks and I cannot recommend this product highly enough. It minces everything I've thrown into it: beef, chicken, lamb and even makes short work of any sinuey off-cuts. As others have said it is quite noisy, but that's probably because it has a powerful 1800W motor and it's not as though it's a machine you leave running for hours. Making sausages is also a piece of cake, just attach the sausage nozzle and away you go.
