I am really pleased with this little unit.
It tidied us over while a new kitchen was being installed and I have come to rely on it heavily.
To the point where I prefer to cook on this hob than on the new, fairly exotic, gas one.
It does take a little while to bring a large, full, pan to the boil but one can control simmering very precisely - especially when using cast-iron pans.
Easy to clean and the rings retain heat for long enough to prevent over-rapid cooling while plating out - or for allowing things like rice, or spaghetti, to "mature" after switching the current off.
One reviewer commented that the rubber feet come off easily.
I have not experienced this, but can imagine it happening if the unit, with two heavy pans on top, is pushed over a non-slippery surface.
The graduations on the knobs are almost invisible (they are there, black-on-black, if you look carefully !) but I have not found this to be much of a problem in practice.
One soon gets used to the thermostatic controls - which work well.
I recommend this little hob and would be surprised if one can get a better unit for the money.
I have no intention of getting rid of mine.
