This feeder is great. It can seem like it's a bit fiddly to set up the timers etc. at first, but as long as you follow the instructions it's fine (second time round I still needed them so hang onto them). The fact that you can record a message that plays 3 times each time the next meal is available is great (especially if you have a sleepy cat like mine). We've been away for a couple of long weekends now and our cat has eaten out of every section both times. We did get him used to it while we were at home first though, which I think is important as our cat was unsure of it to begin with (it does look like a big spaceship!), but each time it called we took him and showed him his dinner was ready and he got used to it within a week. It's certainly very sturdy and I don't think our cat could break into it. Very relieved to be able to go away and not worry about the cat being fed!

I rushed to buy this express delivery as my hoiday was in 3 days time for a week in spain. I had to pay express and it arrived b4 the holiday thank god. I was having a cat sitter but out of my 3 cats, one doesn't like other people so i looked for a 7 day feeder. i could only find a 6 day, this one and the day i was leaving they'd be fed by me anyway, so 6 was fine. anyway i just cancelled my hoiday and re arranged, but that is not to do with the cats. Anyway when I got it it was easy to set up, i did 6 days at 10am everyday. before i did this as at this point i was still going on holiday i had to do a test to make sure it worked. YOU MUST DO THIS!!!!!. It worked and when my voice came on the cats looked so funny.....anyway i showed them and them ate from it straight away. With Boo my boy I added some treats so he went for it....worked a treat. so anyway now i go next month and this wil do the week. i leave so many big bowls of dry food out of royal canin and science plan, but they like their wet food. i might get another just for treats per day. and yes i leave about 15 itter trays out and 10 water bowls. my neighbour will check in on them too. but they are happier alone with eachother than with a stranger coming. great buy, wish the bowls were bigger though. you can also have it for twice a day feeds so 3 days worth. LOVE IT!

It was the 6 meal capcity that made me decide to buy this product, so I can easily feed my cat for 3 days whilst I am away!
So far so good - it has worked perfectly. A little complicated to set up, but as long as you follow the instructions it is fine, and once you figure out that the meal tray only fits into the machine one way, and don't force it, it is also fine!!
