Andrew Greenfield Lockhart was born and grew up in Scotland. He studied at Glasgow University before embarking on a career in industry. He began a serious writing and self-publishing career in the 1990s and reckons that is the easy part. Marketing and selling is quite another matter!
They say everyone has a novel in them, he says on his website, but to reach the bestseller list needs a miracle. While waiting for the dream, why not have a lot of fun, learn about the business and maybe bring reading pleasure to a few hundred people.
Andrew's writing specialty is historical fiction, with special interest in the mediaeval period. His latest novel, The Dark Side of the Fylfot, is set in 14th Century Saxony. Two earlier romances, one of which, The Tiger and the Cauldron, is still available in print form, were set in Mongol Persia.
All three novels are now available from Amazon as Kindle books.
