Top Temp 230 °c
The Andrew Collinge 230 Super Slim Digital straightener is a salon straightener with a top temperature of 230 °c, for super-sleek salon performance.
Ultra-fast 30 second heat-up
The Andrew Collinge Pro Wide 230 Digital Straightener heats up fast in 30 seconds. The ultra-fast heat-up means the Pro Wide 230 Digital Straightener maintains a constant high heat during use for optimum styling.
Extra-Wide Plates
The 45 mm extra wide plates are perfect for thicker & longers styles, allowing you to straighten your hair quicker and faster than standard straighteners.
Digital high heat
The straightener has a digital display with 5 variable temperature settings, 150-230 °c, so you can set the desired heat in accordance with your hair type. Generally, you should use a lower temperature for soft, fine hair and higher temperatures for thick or coarse hair.
Ceramic plates
The ceramic plates provide better heat transfer and extra smoothness for a snag-free, ultra-shiny style.
Auto shut-off
Worried about burning the house down because you can’t remember if you turned your straighteners off? The Andrew Collinge Pro Wide 230 Digital Straightener has an auto shut off function that automatically switches the straightener off after 60 minutes--phew, worry over!
Top Tip from Andrew Collinge:
“Simply take a small to medium size section of hair, open up the straightening iron and wrap the section of hair within the iron close to the root. Close the iron and turn it over 90 degrees. Now gently slide the Pro Wide 230 Digital straightener away from the roots and towards the ends; once the hair falls free, a beautiful soft wave will appear. Continue this technique to achieve the desired look.”
“To create sleek, straight hair, the secret is in the preparation. After shampooing and conditioning, dry your hair off completely. Should your hair be particularly wavy or thick, a styling straightening product will definitely be beneficial. Raking your fingers through the hair whilst drying or using a paddle brush on curlier hair will give you a smoother result before you start straightening. Now section the hair off, starting at the back and glide the Pro Wide 230 Digital straightener from roots to ends. Check you have combed out any tangles before you begin each section. To keep your style looking at its best, you can use the straightener between shampoos.”
