Synopsis
Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli's career is full of rare, unusual, and often daring choices. Boccelli is best known as an opera star, but he has also crossed over into the world of pop. This live performance, captured on camera in Bocelli's quaint home town of Lajatico in Tuscany, sees the singer attempting to build bridges between the musical worlds he inhabits by inviting a wide array of guests to join him on stage. Among the performers are Kenny G, Sarah Brightman, Laura Pausini, and Chris Botti.

I was so surprised about this disc!
Superb concert, superb picture BUT what on earth are they doing with the sound?? Stereo!!! On a Blu-Ray disc!! Come on, this is the 21st Century and modern technology!
Says 5.1 PCM on the casing, but the actual stage performance is PCM Stereo.

Real shame................

Please ignore "Riggers" review..! It is without a doubt PCM 5.1 you just need to select it in the menu!

I have shown this Blu-ray to everybody that came to my house, if they wanted to or not :-), and they ALL loved it..

What a fantastic line-up.. Especially with Chris Botti and Lang Lang.

It is PCM 5.1 and it is fantastic!

FIRST OF ALL THIS BLU RAY IS ONE OF THE BEST BLU RAY CONCERT I HAVE SO FAR WITH THE CELINE DION A NEW DAY IN VEGAS. PICTURE QUALITY IS GREAT AS WELL AS THE SOUNDTRACK WHICH IS ALSO IN PCM 5.1 FORMAT BUT IF YOU DON4T HAVE THE RIGHT DECODER YOU CAN ONLY GET THE PCM 2.0 SO BUY THIS BD WITH CONFIDENCE JUST CHECK EITHER YOUR PLAYER OR AMP TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE PCM 5.1 DECODER.
