I first saw this concert on cable TV during a wide awake late night through illness.
I was absolutly enthralled with the atmosphere of it all. It was my first experience of Andre Rieu and found it very moving. His approach to music is so informal everyone from the audience of ages from infant to elderly were involved in the experience. You even got the feeling that his orchestra and singers were having a "good time" as well. The solo singers were wonderful too. Carmen Manorcha's rendition on O Mia Bambino Caro moved me to tears just like one of the audience. The whole show lifted my spirits.
If you love good music you will absolutely love this DVD. You get so absorbed in the atmosphere you feel part of the audience that were fortunate to see it live.
I am now an Andre Rieu convert.
As soon as I could I searched Amazon for a copy and ordered it.
The delivery service was really fast. I received the DVD even before Amazon e-mailed that it had been dispatched.

Amazon Verified Purchase
The title says it all. This is indeed a romantic concert recorded in beautiful Tuscany. The music is on the whole much slower and quieter than is sometimes the case with Andre Rieu concerts, but a delight to watch and listen to.

Format:DVD
This is an official Andre Rieu release, albeit one that was originally rekeased I'm 2003. (It's also available under the title 'Tuscany'.
It's one of the first DVD appearances of the the three female singers, Suzan Erens, Carla Maffioletti and Carmen Monarcha - no Platin Tenors yet though.
Personally I could do without the cutaways to shots of the musicians miming to the live concert music in various locations - but they"re very attractive locations, as is the setting of the concert itself.
Not new, but a very good show indeed.

the DVD arrived on time and in good condition but had no seal or wrapping and part of the literature was missing. A new DVD should be intact. Read more

Buyers beware
This show does not have the red tag certification on the cover. Therefore it could be a copy of a previous show in a new box. Also we get no description which is strange!!
