DVD Description
André Rieu's In Wonderland DVD features beautiful fairy-tale music including "Swan Lake", "Hansel and Gretel", "Solveig’s Song", the "Sabre Dance", the "Old Castle", "Cinderella" and the "Magic Flute". It was recorded at Efteling, one of the world’s most beautiful theme parks, and performed by André Rieu, his orchestra and choir. The DVD also has contributions from Suzan Erens, Carmen Monarcha, Carla Maffioletti, Mirusia Louwerse, Brian Dickerson, the Platinum Tenors, soloists from the Ballet of the Vienna State Opera, the International Dance Theatre, and the Berlin Folk-Music Sparrows.

Format:DVD
This is my least favourite Andre Rieu DVD (and I think I have them all!) - the music on it is well up to standard and enjoyable, and at over 2 hours it's good value.
My problem with it it is that there are too many visual effects and gimmicks that get in the way of the music.
Some viewers may not find these effects distracting, but personally, I did.
Otherwise, it's a very good concert, with a nice mix of tunes - I certainly wouldn't recommend anyone not to purchase - just to be forewarned if you're expecting a straightforward concert.
It was a valiant attempt at doing something different (and I'm all for that), but for me, it didn't work.
Luckily, after this one, I have nothing but positive things to say about Rieu DVD's!

Just love this DVD, so entertaining, music, singers, scenery just wonderful, love all Andre's DVD's and CD's.
This one so apt for Christmas, but for the rest of the year too.
I just wanted it to go on and on, really hooked on Andre and look forward to more DVDs in the very near future.

Format:DVD|Amazon Verified Purchase
There is only one word to describe this DVD and I am not allowed to describe it in less than 20. That word? AMAZING - and the cheapest André Rieu DVD that I have ever purchased. While he is a great musician - and has a great team of musicians with him, he is the complete showman. This is one that I shall watch many times. I'd give this one ten stars.

this is a wonderful dvd - I lent it to an eight year old girl and she was so thrilled with it, I let her keep it and bought another copy! That is how good it is.
