I am normally not the type of person who writes reviews but people's unnecessary and unhelpful criticism made me do it.
I have 2 of Tracy's DVD's, the Mat Workout and the Post-Pregnancy workout. Long story short, I had a baby at the end of 2008, got the weight off fine without too much effort, had another one 6 months ago and it has been a lot harder this time. I started with the Mat workout as my friend was raving about it but due to lack of time (and motive!) I stopped. Then I decided to try the Post-Pregnancy workout instead. Admittedly, the first time I did the DVD, I was in tears and gave up half way through - it seemed so difficult and I was in pain! But as Tracy says "You have got to keep with it, don't be discouraged" - I did it again the following day. I didn't manage to do every single sequence but I lasted until the end of the DVD. The 3rd and 4th day I got even better, managed to do a little bit of even the hardest things. She keeps mentioning that if you can't do the whole thing, do as much as you can and gives you easier alternatives.
Yes, I would probably say that 6 weeks after giving birth I would have struggled a lot more but could have certainly STARTED at around 3 months post-pregnancy. I say started because it is ok to take your time and do what you can as much as you can. The more you do it the better you get (already after 3-4 days)
I quite like her style, she doesn't speak much (one of the main points why people criticise) and she doesn't look too stupidly happy like lots of workout trainers do. She gives more directions during this DVD than she did with the Mat Workout so it is easier to follow. But I like it anyway if I don't have to listen to the same text over again every day (personal preference).
So yes, DVD consists of abs workout, lots of different rotations - you will feel like you won't be able to make it! Legs, your butt will burn! Arms section is good but much better in the Mat Workout so might wanna combine.
All in all I think it's a brilliant workout DVD, it gets horrendously difficult at times but that's what effective workout is about, you will see the results and it's worth it! Good luck!
