5.0 out of 5 stars The best and most complete guide to Andalucia 1 Mar 2003
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
I live in Andalucia and have read a few guide books.

This one is the best by far. It gives complete and accurate information about every city and large town in the region. It has the opening hours for most attractions, recommended restaurants and hotels, and even a guide to the best surfing beaches. It is also a mine of interesting historical information and all of it is presented in a clear easy-to-read style.

Highly recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars Thorough and informative 9 Oct 2003
Format:Paperback
A very detailed and informative guide book. If focuses on cultural things like history, architecture and sights rather than practical things like hotels and restaurants (but it does have some suggestions). If you're wondering whether to get this or the Lonely Planet guide, get both: they are both excellent and they complement each other (LP better on practicalities but less thorough).

3.0 out of 5 stars Buildings and Birds 4 July 2001
By Christine Phillips - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This book covers the architectural and natural wonders of Andalusia, but skimps on helpful information about restaurants, shopping, and to some extent, lodging.
