More About the Author

Jeffrey Kennedy has thoroughly enjoyed living in Europe for the last quarter of a century and has been lucky enough to author and co-author a plethora of travel guides and articles for major international publishers.

His chosen destinations have included Rome, Naples and many other regions of Italy; San Francisco and Miami and other parts of Florida in his native US; Mallorca, Andalusia and Barcelona in Spain; and parts of Greece and France.

He has also written a semi-historical novel, coming soon - an esoteric thriller entitled "Pan's Dominion", set on his beloved island of Capri and in Rome, his Eternal City.

frustrating 6 Jun 2008
By bargain hunter - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
Contains some good information, but the format makes it difficult to use when you're actually in a particular place. Sights, restaurants, markets, etc. for any one location are scattered through the book. Few helpful maps or walking tours. The straightforward Eyewitness Travel Guides are much more useful and comprehensive.
For afterward... 6 Nov 2010

When I lived in Spain I traveled a lot, just going all over Andalucia seeing everything. This book wasnt much help while I was going around and about, but it was a good resource for where to go and explore. Or even better to read afterward to see what you did and giving you time to explore the beautiful southern parts of Spain without your nose in a book.
Good book but stay away from Andalucia 31 May 2013

We bought this book for a holiday to Andalucia. Unfortunately we were robbed upon our arrival at the apartment we were renting. There is not much here that is like the Spain that we grew to like in other areas of the country - Barcelona, Madrid, Alella, Seville, Granada. But stay from this area that has been described as a haven for thieves.
Short,and to the point 4 April 2013

A brief overview of the area and major "don't miss" highlights. I plan to use it on a hiking trip to the area in the Spring. It is small enough to fit in my backpack, so should come in handy.
