Horribly out of date,

Although this has copyright 2003 on it, it was complete rubbish in a number of areas. In one place it showed roads close to where we stayed that have not been there for at least 10 years since a dam flooded the valley. It was similar tosh in another few places. Unless you enjoy going down dead ends and getting lost do not buy this.

I was travelling to Andalucia and although know some of the area, definately thought I needed a map.What an excellent choice I made. The map is very clear and concise with very good points of interest etc. If you are travelling in this area you would be a fool to be without it. Guaranteed to keep you on the straight and narrow...if thats what you want! But will aslo take you the the old traditional places where the tourists dont go. I would suggest you buy this, you'd regret it if you didnt!!

Getting lost on more than one occasion,

In several cases the road numbers on the map are not those now used. This can be a problem with missed turnings. Also map does not go far enough east. For instance , Baeza and Ubeda are not included. I would give overall 7 out of 10 as once we were aware of its shortcomings, we looked for town names on the road signs and not the road numbers. If you go away from the main roads onto "C" roads the scale is not really adequate and its easy to get lost.
