Format:VHS Tape
This film is incredibly watchable and tackles the genocide of one of the forgotton minorities during the Holocaust in a sensitive manner. The film provides real insight into the way the gypsies of the era lived and the trials that they went through during the Second World War. This film is a must for anyone who was moved by Schindler's List or Jacob the Liar. A truly moving film.

Here this film follows Dymitr,a Polish gypsy violinist,as he leads his family and friends in a desperate bid for freedom.
Eventual capture leads them to Auschwitz death camp and all that happened there.

It may have only been a 'B' rated film but I remembered it from about 20 years ago. It is well worth watching. Some of the gypsy music is haunting.
