5.0 out of 5 stars MISSION ACCOMPLISHED 25 Jan 2012
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
This clear-headed,realistic and easy to understand book is an excellent elementary level guide for all 'amateur'(lovers)of poetry. It fully achieved Marjorie's objective to fill a gap in the market, namely to be small(190 pages),yet technical, with wide ranging examples.Though written in 1953 it remains contemporary and relevant and well deserves its reputation as a classic.
