AT LAST- a reissue! 29 Mar 2010
Format:Audio CD
I was alway's a sucker for Rubella Ballet's album, and particularly the "42f" 12"-but with the lifestyle i led for so many years,it was impossible to keep track of record's over the years-I'm sure many people will know what I'm talking about if they're reading this! When I eventually found myself 'settled down' to a degree,re-finding records like "at last it's Playtime" and "42f" was an atrocious chore-so when I found that this had been released I was over the moon. They were alway's like the 'light relief' of the anarcho scene..not to take anything away from them-everyone I knew, knew that Sid and Zillah etc had their political heads screwed on-so why SHOULDN'T we have some thing in dayglo, with a psychedelic edge to it,to trip out to when the state of the nation became too much to bear sometimes?
I'm just glad it's back.Now-with this out,and the Mob,Zoundz,Peni, etc all available again-why are Omega Tribe so overlooked that some american rap band has taken the name?
A great mix of entertainment and social conscience-See,kiddies?All us older Anarcho types weren't just a bunch of miserablist's,after all!
