Gareth Thompson, has had his third novel `The Anarchist's Angel,' published.
His first book, `The Great Harlequin Grim', was published in 2006 and last year his second book, `Sunshine to the Sunless,' was published and has been nominated for the 2009 Carnegie Medal.
His new book is once again a very enjoyable read and I think his novels should be made into films.
`The Anarchist's Angel' is again set in Cumbria, and centres around teenager Samson Ashburner, the son of a publican who finds he does not fit in well with the local children.
This is made worse after an accident that leaves his face scarred. This forces him to spend all his time in an old charcoal-burning hut in the nearby woods - the only place where he feels wanted or at peace.
But the outside world won't stop intruding, and a new landowner threatens Samson's refuge, while a gypsy girl, Angel Obscura, shows him that not everyone looks only at the surface.
I think we will be hearing much more from the pen of Mr Thompson and this up an coming author will soon be a household name.
