I thought I would learn a lot about ther origins and reasons of the conflict in Spain in the 30'. I didn't. That's why I bought another book yesterday on the topic, and hope I will learn much more. The topic is quite intriguing for me after my 3 visits to sunny Spain. The remarkable point is that the Spanish historians somehow avoid the matter....In La Palma(Mallorca) there is an avenue called after Juan March, the man who financed Franco. True criminals, weren't they? But there may be a street called after von Krupp or Thyssen in Germany today(men who backed Hitler with their millions)? Who knows?
