for the analyitical therapist this books has it all. This covers all the theory behind psychoanalysis and delves deep into the aspect of analysis within hypnotherapy. It covers resistance, repression and transerence amongst many others. This book prepares those who have not used this type of therapy and those who have used it. this is the first of two volumes, the second being the practical application of what the first book teaches. the only gripe is that the two books did not come as a double package. if therapist have not had training in the analytical style of therapy, then this is a must

I have just finished an intensive ten month hypnotherapy course and decided to buy J. Morison's volumes 1 and 2 on analytical hypnotherapy. The books are stimulating and well informed. I only wish I had read them before starting the course. I am recommending these books to all my colleagues who took the course with me and even those who are considering taking the course. These two volumes are worth their weight in gold!
