4.0 out of 5 stars There are too many people, and too few human beings., 6 Aug 2001
What I like about the book is that Neville Syminington isn't always patting himself on the back. There are mistakes he has learnt from and he mentions them. In my experience therapists tend to have big egos (well that's what they show to a patient and I would have thought to delegates too).

Neville Symington has a wonderful way of explaining psychotherapy and, for those who know a bit more than the basics, there is plenty for them to read too.

The way he explains the thought process of different pschotherapists is interesting but it creates a far bigger meaning to the word than I had previously perceived.

After putting the book down I found I was still reading it for quite a while afterwards.
