this is brillant book, defintley a keeper ,this the best one out of the whole series,

synopsis:

Hester Perceval's debut into London society six years ago caused such a scandal that she had to come hometo Steepwood in disgrace.

Hester learnt the hard way that men look for pretty faces, not stirring discussion and debate. Now, living quietly with her books, she is accepting of her life as a spinster. The last thing she wants is to accompany her family to London for another Season.

She fears what she will do if she comes face to face with Robert, Lord Dungarran, again - just when she's mastered her riotous emotions for him. Because, shamefully, he played a part in her humiliating downfall . . .

This is the seventh book in the popular Steepwood series of Regencies. In this amusing and well written tale, the mystery of who wrote that shocking book "The Wicked Marquis" finally emerges to the horror of its author. However, love and mischief abound and there is lots more of the background mystery of Steepwood in this particular book, so that at last we are really getting to the meat of the continuing saga.

You really mustn't miss this one!
